Hi, I'm Matt. I started Lowcountry Dog Walkers because I've been the person who needed it.

I spent 15 years in corporate tech sales. Long hours, young kids, after-school chaos, and two dogs at home who had zero interest in my conference call schedule. There were plenty of days I just needed someone reliable to step in and give them a proper walk. Someone I felt good about handing a key to. That person was hard to find, and honestly that's what got me here.

Since starting, I've realized that feeling is a lot more common than I expected. It's not just busy professionals - it's nurses working doubles, lawyers pulling long days, parents running on fumes. It's also people recovering from surgery, dealing with an injury, or just not getting around like they used to. Maybe you're traveling for a week or going through a hard stretch and your dog still needs their routine. Whatever the reason, your dog shouldn't have to miss out.

What I try to bring to every client is pretty simple - I actually care. I take time at the meet and greet to get to know your dog. Their personality, their quirks, what makes them comfortable. That part matters to me.

When I'm not out on walks you'll probably find me on the water, running the Ravenel, or at one of Charleston's playgrounds with the kids. The Lowcountry isn't just where I work - it's home.
